University of the Witwatersrand

The Structural Chemistry Group is part of the Centre for Molecular Design in the Chemistry Department of the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. The group is primarily involved with powder and single crystal crystallography and has one Philips APD diffractometer, an Enraf-Nonius CAD4 diffractometer and a Bruker-AXS SMART CCD single crystal diffractometer. There are also two weissenberg cameras and a local computer centre with several PC's with both Unix and MS-WindowsNT platforms for all the required computational and word processing needs.
